This November, all members of the County Board of Legislators are up for election. These elected leaders make important decisions that affect children, youth and families in all our communities. The Vote for Kids Campaign is a partnership of individuals and organizations working to put young people at the top of the public agenda in the 2011 County elections.

We urge you and your organization to join the Campaign! By joining, you pledge to...

• Add your voice to the campaign. When you sign up to Vote for Kids as an individual, your County legislator and the County Executive will get a message saying that you plan to vote for candidates that support children, youth and families. You will also be added to our email alert list that will keep you up to date on children's issues.
• Register to vote. By participating in elections, you tell government leaders that you care about their actions and want them to help young people thrive. Partner organizations will help people register by the October 3rd deadline.
• Learn about the candidates and children's issues. WCA is surveying legislative candidates on children's issues and share their responses with you. Read those responses before you cast your vote.
• Vote for Kids! Turn out to vote on November 8th.
