Act Now to Protect Benefits for
Children & Families

Here's what your representative needs to hear from you:

I urge you to vote for the jobs bill, legislation that includes important services and benefits for children and families. H.R. 4213 will:
  • provide funds to help states with rising Medicaid costs;
  • continue unemployment benefits and COBRA health care subsidies;
  • continue the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Emergency Fund; and will
  • provide resources for summer jobs for youth.
Families experiencing a job loss know about financial struggles. The bill, which we expect to be on the House floor as early as today, will help stabilize these families in this time of economic uncertainty.
