Show Up and Be Counted TODAY!

County Executive Robert Astorino will deliver his first State of the County Address, Thursday, April 22, 2010. We must continue to speak out in support of children's services.

 
We know it is short notice but please ...
Join us today for the State of the County Address Thursday, April 22 at 7:30 p.m. in the Legislative Chambers on the 8th floor of the Michaelian County Office Building, 148 Martine Ave., White Plains. The speech is open to the public.

There will be an outside gathering with media beforehand, so a strong showing is important.Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Those wishing to attend should allow adequate time to get through the building's security, so as to be seated by 7:15 p.m. The public is advised that seating is limited.




Let Your Voice Be Heard
 
Tell the County Executive (e-mail) to:
  • Stop proposed cuts to child care supports and other children's services.
  • Make children and families a top priority
  • Share the county's financial burden across all sectors
More opportunities to speak up for children and youth!
  • Attend and/or speak during the public comment period at the next Board of Legislators meetings on Monday, April 26th at 7pm, Michaelian Office Building, 148 Martine Avenue, 8th floor, White Plains
  • Attend the Children's Rally from the Westchester County Center to downtown White Plains Thursday, May 6th starting around 3:30 pm, following the Child Care Council of Westchester's Early Care and Education Conference.
