It's back to school, and for your kids that can mean the anxiety of dealing with school work, new teachers and all the other kids. This is difficult for most kids, but if your child has ADD or ADHD then it can be extremely stressful. Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder affects 1.6 million children ages 6-11 in this country alone. This amounts to 7% of the school age population! It is now known that this energy issue does not disappear when you become an adult.
ADD/ADHD and Autism are growing at alarming rates. Many articles and studies are pointing to EMF as possible contributing or aggravating factors.

Maximize Your Child's Performance

It's time for children to return to school. Most of us don't realize that today children have extra challenges to learning in the form of dirty electricity. In fact, it's very possible that dirty electricity is a strong, contributing factor to ADD/ADHD, brain fog, asthma, fibromyalgia and diabetes.
What is dirty electricity and how can it affect your child?
Dirty electricity can be picked up by power lines delivering electricity to your home, or generated by computers, TV's, florescent and halogen lights as well as any electronic devices at home, work, or school. Dirty electricity refers to the fact that each of these devices is generating electromagnetic radiation. Most schools have extensive florescent or halogen lighting, computers, and wireless networks in the school. This means your children sit in a "pool" of electromagnetic radiation all day long.
How does dirty electricity relate to ADD/ADHD?
In a study done in 2004, scientists at Children's Hospital & Regional Medical Center in Seattle linked ADHD with early TV watching habits. Their study addressed only the nature of the visual stimulation that can be disruptive to brain development. While I do completely agree with this analysis, the part that is missing for me is the effect of the electromagnetic radiation that these children are exposed to by sitting close to the TV.

 We haven't forgotten how hard teachers work. You are dealing with the same levels of EMF as all of the kids and the extra stress of trying to make an impression on them and help them learn. Many teachers are also Highly Sensitive People. A Report came out recently stating that being a teacher is one of the jobs most susceptible to depression. It's no wonder, when you're dealing the kids, administration and the parents, long hours, not enough pay.....and on and on. Don't Forget - Your Shield Needs to Be Recharged

 Hang Shield in natural light either in a window, or preferably, outside (but only if you have a very secure place). (More info about recharging) We usually just keep it on the cord or chain, and loop it over a lawn chair. This allows it to hang freely and absorb the energy from the sun. (Be sure you secure the loop by wrapping around something, then pull Shield through the loop, pull to make sure it can't come off, birds do like shiny objects)
IT DOES NOT NEED TO BE A SUNNY DAY for you to recharge your Shield. It's not the light that the shield needs; it's the energy vibration from the sun that recharges the crystals. However, bright sunlight does make it charge faster. So, if it's sunny, leave it out for 3 continuous hours; if cloudy, for 6 continuous hours. If you are hanging it in a window that blocks certain parts of the light spectrum, leave it for 8 hours.  DO NOT LEAVE YOUR SHIELD OUT IN THE MOONLIGHT! The moon is reflected energy from the sun, thus it pulls energy away from your Shield. If you ever forget, hang your Shield out for twice as many hours as it was left in the moonlight. To insure it is functioning at 100%, you can send it in for recharging and repolishing. Our consultant examines each Shield that is sent in to make sure it has received a full charge from our crystal room.
Suggestion for worry-free recharging: Recharge your Shield during the New Moon (dark) phase. That way if you do forget and leave it out overnight, there's no harm done, as there is no moonlight shining on it to drain it. ROOM SHIELD NOTE: Your Room Shield is constantly recharging using the ambient light in the room. Unless you have it in a completely windowless room, you don't need to recharge your Room Shield. If you haven't charged your Shield regularly for more than two years, you may want to get it recharged by us in our Montana crystal charging circle.
POLISHING It's summer and silver and brass both tend to tarnish more when it's hot, humid and you're, well, sweaty. Sorry, just can't think of a better way to say it.
You can polish your silver chains and Shields with any commercial silver polish. Brass can be cleaned with Brass or other brass cleaners.

Silver increased 630% since 1998, the Shield increased only 247%

I received an email the other day from a woman who lost her Shield. She was upset because she originally paid $140 for her Silver Shield in 1998 and wanted to purchase a replacement for the same price. When I explained that the cost of silver had increased, it was clear that she thought we were gouging and increasing prices simply because we could. That prompted me to do a little research. In 1998, silver was between $4.50 and $6.50 an ounce today silver is $41 an ounce a 630% increase! We were selling the silver with brass tab shield for $140 back then. The current price of the silver with brass shield is $347 - an increase of only 247%. We try to keep the prices as low as possible and these statistics give a little better idea of how well we've done that. If we increased our prices at the same rate that silver increased the BT shield would be $882! The Shields are a bargain at any price and the protection and balancing is simply invaluable.
