FROM STRATEGIC PLANNING TO SUSTSINABILITY - Last year the strategic planning process affirmed our community's commitment to environmental awareness and responsibility. With input from faculty, staff and students, The TGS Green Committee (Mary Chamberlin, Chris Harlow, Mark Long, Tara Meinhard and Natalie Thomson) is currently envisioning an action plan to improve the environmental sustainability of our school. Our current focus is communication, purchasing and goals for energy conservation. How might we work toward a greener school? What might we be doing in five years to reduce our ecological footprint? The members of the Green Committee look forward to hearing from you. Please forward your thoughts to mchamberlin@vermontel.net.

Thanks, Deb THE BILL KOCH SKI LEAGUE - (BKL) dry land training program is designed to help with the transition between fall and winter sports and to introduce children to the world of cross country ski racing. Our emphasis on preparing for nordic skiing and racing will include building cardiovascular fitness, flexibility, balance and strength as a base for a fun-filled winter on the snow. Children of all ages and abilities are welcome-though we strongly encourage parents of children under 8 to join their children in our sessions to help us meet the needs of our younger participants. We are excited to begin preparing for the ski season and invite you to join in the fun!
