TGS GOES GREEN FOR THE WEDNESDAY NOTICE -Special thanks to Alli Lubin and Joey Morgan for all their help getting this up and running! We are now able to email the Wednesday Notice with pictures. If you want to print the pictures or the notice you will be able to from the email. This will save the school one ream of paper a month plus ink, not to mention all the trees we will be saving! DARTMOUTH SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA
- Thursday November 13th at 8pm. Dartmouth Symphony Orchestra,
conducted by former TGS parent Anthony Princiotti! Dvorak,
Waltz in D Major, Shostakovich, Chamber symphony for strings in C
minor, Schubert, Symphony #5 in B-flat major. See them before they
embark on their European Tour! $10 Adults $5 children or $20 per

CONGRATULATIONS TO OPUS 17 WINNERS JULIAN STOLPER AND TIM QUIMBY - Their
composition "Brassed" was chosen by the Vermont Midi Project judges to
be played live by professional musicians at the Opus 17 concert on
Tuesday, December 2nd at Elley-Long Music Center, Saint Michael's
College, Colchester, VT. Guests are welcome to attend the concert.

ART PROGRAM IS LOOKING FOR JUNK! - Thank you to the folks that have put small junk items in the art bins. We could use more of your small junk, so when you are cleaning out your junk drawers or closets think of the art students. There are two junk bins for any items you wish to donate to this effort. There is one outside the main office and one outside the art room. We could use any interesting items smaller than a baseball. Items could include: small toys, marbles, Legos, metal parts, wooden spools, tiles, buttons, wood scraps, etc.... We also are looking for any small gift boxes (8x10 or smaller) paper towel tubes, and anything else that you have multiples of that could be turned into art. William Chambers/Art Teacher LOOKING FOR AN AFTER SCHOOL ART/CLAY INSTRUCTOR-If you know anyone who would be interested and able to teach a fall arts and crafts class or a hand-building clay class after school at TGS, please contact William. SKI/SKATE SALE REMINDER! - NOVEMBER 21ST AT 3:15 in the TGS Gym! Donations may be dropped off in the gym starting November 17th. Mark items with your name and the percentage you wish to retain. FOOD DONATIONS - During the month of November the seventh grade is collecting non-perishable items/food for Putney Family Services food shelf. All are welcome to bring donations to the boxes near the seventh grade homeroom. Thank you. FIESTA DE MEXICO AT COMPASS SCHOOL - The Latin dance music ensemble Black Beans will perform at the Compass School's annual fundraiser for the junior class expedition to Mexico. The evening features a Mexican dinner, silent auction, and live music. Sunday, November 23rd 5:30-9pm. Dance lesson 7pm. Rte 5, Westminster.
