2012 Spring Nationals Recap
1,862 swimmers competed in this years Spring Nationals at Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, N.C. It was resounding success and great to watch several Olympians, Hall of Fame inductees and national record holders making splashes. There were a total of 41 USMS national records broken. All of this happened with live video streaming of the meet. Congratulations to the top finishing local and regional clubs.

So many competitors accomplished their own personal goals and we were able to bring those stories to life in our video coverage. 2012 Marriott USMS Summer Nationals
Registration fees will increase tonight at midnight for the 2012 Marriott USMS Summer National Championships. Do not delay, online registration is available. This unique championship will be held in the same pool as the USA Swimming Trials in Omaha, Neb. All the pageantry from the Trials will be in place for these Nationals. Speedo USMS 5K/10K Postal Championships
 Some people do the 5K Postal and/or the 10K Postal event for competition, while others do it for fitness. Are you up for the challenge? The Speedo USMS 5K and 10K postal championships start May 15. Just swim 5K (5000 meters) and/or 10K (10,000 meters) in its entirety in any 50-meter pool you choose. Fill out your entry and you will be compared to other USMS swimmers around the country. Meet High Volume Online Coach, Patrick Brundage
 Patrick Brundage competed for the University of Texas at Austin, training under one of swimming's greatest coaches, Eddie Reese. While serving in the Peace Corps, he trained with the small but enthusiastic Swaziland National Swim Team. Patrick's coaching career started during graduate school, when he coached 9- to 12-year-olds on a YMCA swim team. Patrick trains and competes hard, chronicling his workouts in his USMS blog, "Of Swimming Bondage." Patrick's workouts will be tailored to his fellow distance swimmers who love to swim in the "animal lane." View Patrick's Workouts
