Ever Dream of Turning your Passion for Local Food into a Business?
Working Solutions, a small Bay Area business lender, specializes in providing loans to entrepreneurs who have been denied a conventional bank loan. They have aided many food industry businesses from restaurants and food trucks to producers of ready-made energy bars, and would like to extend their services to all AIM community members. Their loans range from $5,000 to $50,000 and are supported by business coaching, advising, and mentoring throughout the term of the loan.

Zero Waste Education Volunteers
AIM is thrilled to launch a new recycling and composting program at the Thursday and Sunday Marin Farmers Markets. We need a dedicated team of volunteers to help educate farmers market shoppers about how to use the new system correctly and to encourage recycling and composting.
Volunteers will manage 3 Zero Waste stations at the Thursday and Sunday markets from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm. During this introductory phase it will be important to have volunteers available to help market shoppers put their waste, recyclables, and compostables into the correct bins. We invite you to submit a volunteer application and visit our website to learn more. |

Marin Civic Center Thursday:
Join the taco truck craze on Thursdays and come down to the market for lunch. Jason and Justin (aka "The Taco Guys") whip up a wide variety of farmers market fresh creations every week, from the classic batter-fried fish taco to a taco featuring braised beef cheeks from Marin Sun Farms. The Taco Guys take street tacos to a whole new level.

Swing by the "sweet end" of the market this Sunday for a special treat from Applebaum Bakery. Headquartered in Marin County, owner Joe Applebaum brings a large selection of cookies, bars, tarts and special order cakes to the Stonestown market every week. Let the kids load up on some old fashioned "rocket fuel" before they hit the jump houses across the way.
