Marin City Farmers Market Grand Opening!
Marin City locationThe Marin City Farmers Market is moving forward! Our farmers, food purveyors, and artisans look forward to creating, with your support, a vibrant community hub for all of Southern Marin. Please join us Saturday, June 5th for opening day!

Over the past few years, AIM has considered a number of sites in Southern Marin. Of all those communities requesting a farmers market, Marin City demonstrated the greatest need for access to fresh food, and the Gateway Shopping Center offered the best location for a vibrant farmers market capable of serving all of Southern Marin. Easy access from Highway 101, excellent public transportation, and an abundance of parking will make the market an effortless morning excursion for both customers and farmers alike.

In its first year, the market will run June through September for a four-month trial period. We have high hopes for the Marin City Farmers Market. We'll see ya Saturday morning!

Restaurants that Shop the Farmers MarketMike and Kenny

Need some help deciding where to go out for dinner? Explore our local restaurants web page. It lists all the restaurants that source from our farmers markets, and divides them into three regions: East Bay, North Bay, and San Francisco.

If you are a chef or know of a restaurant that purchases from AIM farmers, please send us the restaurant's information and we will happily put it up on our website. Pictured above is Kenny Belov (owner of FISH. a sustainable seafood restaurant in Sausalito) and Mike Iacopi of Iacopi Farm, one of the many farmer chef relationships that thrive at our farmers markets.

Dance for Your Farmers Market !
We're looking for enthusiastic volunteer dancers to join us Sunday, June 6th from 8am - 10:30am at the Sunday Marin Farmers Market. All levels are welcome, ages 8 and up, no need to be a professional to participate, just energetic! Curious? Please contact Adriana Broullon at adriana@agriculturalinstitute.org for more information and to sign up for the event.
