B.Y.O.B. on Earth Day & Every Dayproduce bag
In honor of Earth Day, April 22nd, take the "Bring your own bag" challenge. Can you do all of your regular shopping without a single new plastic bag? Remember your reusable bag, bring back the plastic bags you used last week, try carrying home strawberries, nuts, and dried fruit in a yogurt container or a glass mason jar. Visit the MFM information booth for handy cloth produce and tote bags that can be used, reused, and (you better believe it) reused again!

Starting on Sunday, April 19th, Green Sangha will join MFM at the Eat Local 101 Booth to inspire and inform shoppers at the Marin Civic Center Farmers Market on how to green their shopping experience. Stop in for helpful tips on how to bring home your produce without all the plastic, every third Sunday of the month. Thank you Green Sangha volunteers!
Cooking DemonstrationKenny Belov
Join us Sunday, April 5th at the Marin Civic Center Farmers Market for a cooking demonstration by your local "Fishmonger" Kenny Belov, the owner of FISH. in Sausalito.

At 9am, meet Kenny at the Eat Local 101 Booth for walking tour of the Civic Center Farmers Market. He will share a favorite recipe highlighting what's in season and then take the group to visit a handful of the farmers who are growing the ingredients he calls for. At 10am (and again at 11am), join Kenny and Mike Iacopi of Iacopi Farms for a cooking demonstration.
