Staff Update
MFM would like to introduce our newest staff member, Brad Burger. Brad will be replacing Rick Vena as our Hayward Farmers Market manager on Saturdays, and running the distribution end of our Farm to Fork Program. A warm welcome to Brad, and our best wishes for Rick in his future endeavors!

East Bay shoppers can look forward to both the return of spring fruits and veggies and two renowned music groups this March. Wadaiko Newark, a traditional Japanese drumming group, will get you dancing at the Hayward Farmers Market on Saturday, March 14th, and at the Newark Farmers Market on Sunday, March 22nd. On Saturday, March 14th, the Gonzalo Bergara Quartet will jazz up the Oakland Grand Lake Farmers Market, having just headlined at Dixieland Monterey's 2009 Jazz Bash by the Bay.

The Marin History Museum is presenting an exhibit on the history of farming in Marin and the contemporary stories of local farmers today. Visit the Boyd Gate House in San Rafael before January 2010 to support this wonderful exhibit and to learn about our region's rich agricultural roots and MFM's role in supporting Marin's agricultural legacy.
