2011 Church Giving

Thank you so much for all you do as Local Church Representatives. We could not operate this life changing ministry without each and every one of you. We deeply appreciate all the local churches that worked hard to meet their goal of giving of $12.00 per member for 2011. A list of all the churches that met their goal of giving will be published in the Summer edition of The Herald and listed in the Workbook Supplement at the Florida Annual Conference. Listed below are the top 40 churches that went above and beyond to support the Children's Home. One list contains regular giving (not including estate giving) and the other list is the churches with the largest per member giving (not including estate giving) in the Florida Annual Conference. We created the list to recognize 40 different churches since some churches would have been on both lists. Thank you for all you do to make a real difference in the lives of children and families.

Education Success

Ed Award
Mike Galloway (left), President and Mindy Chambers (right), Director of Residential Care present a resident with her award.

We celebrate education success with an Awards Night in the chapel. Our education program, located in the Worrell Memorial Education Center, provides numerous resources including a library, computers, resource materials, tutoring rooms and more to help enhance what each boy and girl receives in school every day. We are definitely proud of the academic achievements of our residents and the many strides they are making at school.

17 residents increased their G.P.A.

40 received all Good Conduct Marks
