"There are many jobs in America that are just too small for the human spirit. Not many jobs allow you to influence the life of another human being. Every day I come to work on the campus of the Children's Home I see God in the faces of our children in care. Who could ask for more?"

August Highlights!
On August 10 four of our residents will be baptized. We celebrate this momentous decision in these young lives.
On August 17 the residents will share their gifts and talents in our annual Talent Show.
August 22 is the first day of school. Please keep our residents, staff and teachers in your prayers for a successful and productive school year.
On August 31 at 7pm we will hold a campus wide musical! "Good Kings Come in Small Packages" is about the life of King Josiah, which highlights how we don't have to be grown-ups to serve the Lord. Residents have been working hard to prepare for this performance.
The Back to School Appeal was mailed on July 8. This is one of the most successful appeals we do each year. Please remember to lift this up to your people. If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact us.

We welcome our new Vice President of Finance, Mr. Tom Levesque. He replaces Mr. Gerald McCarthy who retired after 10 years of service to the Children's Home.

We Depend On You!

It is not an exaggeration when we say that we greatly depend on the Local Church Local Church Representatives to accomplish the mission of the Children's Home. You are a key element to our overall work and success as a ministry. With approximately 700 churches spread throughout the Florida Annual Conference, it can be extremely difficult for us to make personal contact with each and every church. Without you as a dedicated ambassador and advocate in your church, we could not hope to enjoy the same level of success.
Therefore, we always want to hear from you. Tell us what you have been doing to lift up the ministry of the Children's Home, so we can share it with others. Please let us know if you need materials, have a question, want to share an experience, need a speaker, arrange a campus tour or you just want to speak to us. We want to hear from you. Thank you again for all you do to make a difference for the Florida United Methodist Children's Home.
