Dr.
Jennie Tsai has recently left CBD for personal and health reasons. We all wish
her well. But, if your children have been seeing Jennie the question arises:
Now, who should they see?
As
all parents can attest, KIDS are basically powerful people in small bodies who
command the same respect and rights as the rest of us, only more so.
In
the dental setting, they're mostly concerned that those of us looking after them
are good natured, and prepared to give them a speedy and enjoyable visit.
CBD is number one a "FAMILY PRACTICE".
All
parents with children love them dearly, and it gives them comfort to know the
kids are in the same caring hands they themselves experience when they go to the
dentist.
So
the question is always raised: "Do you see children?" and the answer is simple;
Yes. We ALL see children in our practices. Some of us enjoy this to a greater
extent and some of us less - but our whole team are experts!
As
a general observation, our CBD lady dentists seem to enjoy seeing more kids in
their schedules.
Noelle
Wong is our current hit favorite with children - she's gentle and speedy. Karen
Wong has a very soft approach and works magic to ease apprehensions, and Patty
Siu's got that "matter-of-fact" sense of humor the kids like - if you can find
your way into her busy schedule! Your choice.
It's
interesting to note that despite the intensive training in "Pedodontics" that
all of us received in our ramped-up North America dental school training, real
expertise in treating children ONLY comes with experience. We all have learned
how to do "adult" work on small bodies in an extra-efficient time frame with an
expanded sense of humor.
Of
course, the kid-friendly nature of our support team and great ceiling entertainment
combine to make all the difference.
