National Hunting and Fishing Day at the AGC - September 22nd

UPDATE #2

The Associated Gun Clubs of Baltimore will be the host organization for the Maryland Department of Natural Resources' Sixth Annual Maryland Celebration of National Hunting and Fishing Day on Saturday, September 22, 2012.

This family-oriented day offers fun and educational hands-on activities that everyone enjoys. It is a great way to introduce young people and newcomers to outdoor sports, while teaching them about the important role that hunting and fishing play in Maryland's wildlife conservation programs.

This event is Coordinated by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources Wildlife and Heritage Service.

The event date is Saturday, September 22, 2012. Time: 10:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M.

This is a major statewide event. We will need a large number of volunteers to assist and direct the very high number of guests we anticipate will be attending.

Click here to volunteer and help make this event an outstanding success!

We have 16 volunteers so far, but more are needed!

Goddard Gun Club Requests Your Assistance & Support

The Goddard Gun Club(GGC) was approached by a Goddard Space Flight Center Employee, Steve Coyle and his wife who both recently had a major bout with cancer.  They are in remission and back to work.  Obviously, this has changed their lives forever and their focus has shifted to "giving back" to the community as well as the Wellness House.  The Wellness House was helpful in his recovery.

Steve, the Wellness House and GGC are planning a cancer-related fundraising event at PG Trap and Skeet Center in Greenbelt MD on October 6th 2012.  This is an event is open to all, to register and for more information, visit annapoliswellnesshouse.org
