The Maryland Department of Natural has proposed significant increases in hunting licensee fees.
HB 1419, requested by the state Department of Natural Resources, will raise the fees of the following hunting licenses and stamps:
- Resident, regular at 16 years old and under the age of 65 will increase from $24.50 to $40.00
- Nonresident, regular at 16 years old and under the age of 65 will increase from $130.00 to $160.00
- Nonresident three-day hunting license will increase from $45.00 to $60.00
- Nonresident bow and arrow stamp will increase from $25.00 to $30.00
- Nonresident muzzleloader stamp will increase from $25.00 to $30.00
- Nonresident Maryland migratory bird stamp at $30.00
- Resident turkey stamp at $10.00
- Nonresident turkey stamp at $30.00
- Resident dear stamp at $40.00
- Nonresident consolidated dear stamp $80.00
- Maryland migratory game bird stamp will increase from $9.00 to $12.00
