AGC 2012 Range Badge Procedure

The 2012 AGC Annual Range Badges will become available on Tuesday, November 1, 2011.

This event is always the source of many questions from members and clubs concerning the policy and procedure for obtaining an AGC Range Badge.

Veterans Day Challenge

Friday

9:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M.

Three gun shoot of a different type.

 

.22 caliber revolver with open sights. No peep sights or scopes. Shooting off hand at 25 yards shooting at golf balls. You must shoot them from left to right and any shot out of order will not count. 10 shots with no rests of any type.

 

.22 rifle with open sights. No peep sights or scopes. No slings or shootings jackets or any rests allowed. Shooting at golf balls from left to right and any shot out of order will not count. 10 shots.

 

.410 shotgun shooting at claybirds going straight away from you using the wobble trap. In the event of a tie, the 410 will be used for sudden death.

 

The fee is $20.00 to enter and we will supply ammunition for all firearms used. We will have firearms available for your use if needed. You must register and pay in advance. Registration deadline is October 31, 2011. The event is open to all badge holders, disabled veterans and anyone under 18 years of age. The prize for first place will be a firearm. If not enough people register, the event will be cancelled and it will be posted on the web page if it is cancelled and of course all money will be refunded. The more people that shoot the better the firearm that will be awarded.

NON-RESIDENT UTAH CONCEALED FIREARMS PERMIT COURSE

 

Want "Peace Of Mind" When Travelling Out-of-State? It's Possible With A Utah Concealed Firearms Permit.

 

On the road again..." Protect yourself and your loved ones when traveling to visit family or to a favorite vacation destination. As a Non-Resident of Utah and Law Abiding Citizen, you may obtain a Concealed Firearms Permit from the State of Utah. The Utah CF Permit allows you to conceal carry in approximately 30 plus states, as a Maryland resident. This permit does NOT allow you to carry in the State of Maryland, but it is recognized in all of our adjoining states including Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and Ohio, the gateway to the Midwest. THE UCFP COURSE DOES NOT REQUIRE A LIVE COURSE OF FIRE.

* Fingerprinting by Maryland CJIS Certified Technicians * Shipping to Utah BCI

 

PERMIT APPLICATION FEE : $65.00

Include a non-refundable payment of $65.00 with your application payable to the Utah Bureau of Criminal Identification or Utah BCI. The BCI accepts checks, money orders or credit cards (VISA and MASTERCARD). This application fee consists of $35.00 for application and permit processing and $30.00 charged by F.B.I. to process the fingerprint card. Name and address must be imprinted on all checks. The Utah CF Permit is valid for 5 years. The renewal fee is $15 and valid for 5 years.

 

TOTAL UCFP COURSE AND PERMIT FEES : $165.00

Forms of Acceptable Payment for Course: Personal Checks, Money Orders, and Major Credit Cards: VISA, MC, or Discover. NOTE: Registration fees are non-refundable, but may be applied to a future Utah CFP Course.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

*   US Citizen or Legal Alien at least 21 Years Old * Have Not Been Convicted of a Felony

*   Utah Concealed Firearms Familiarity Certification *   Utah BCI Conducts Background Checks for All Applicants

 

UCFP COURSE CONTENT :

The course is approximately 4-5 hours of classroom instruction: Safe Handgun Handling Rules, Nomenclature, Ammunition, Fundamentals of Pistol Shooting, How to Carry Concealed Options, and Overviews of Aggressive Behavior Management, Use of Force Continuum, Federal, State & Local Laws.

The award-winning crime prevention and personal safety seminar, Refuse To Be A Victim� will be conducted on Saturday, November 19, 2011, at Baltimore County Game & Fish Protective Association, 3400 Northwind Road, Parkville MD 21234 from 10:00 AM - 2:30 PM.

 

The seminar is open to the public and costs $25 to attend. The fee includes student Seminar materials and a light fare lunch. Due to limited seating, pre-registration is required. Refuse To Be A Victim Seminars teach methods to avoid dangerous situations and prevent criminal confrontations. Experts agree the most important factor in surviving a criminal attack is to have an overall safety strategy before you need it. Seminar topics address personal safety issues as well as home, automobile, telephone, technological, and travel security.

 

Seminar participants are presented with a variety of common-sense crime Prevention, personal safety strategies, and devices they may integrate into their daily lives.

 

Refuse To Be A Victimwas developed by the National Rifle Association in 1993 in response to nationwide requests for crime prevention seminars. Members of the law enforcement community across the country have endorsed the program. The program is age appropriate for teens and seniors. With more than two thousand instructors, seminars have been held in 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Canada, and Trinidad and Tobago.

 

Tens of thousands of men and women have benefited from the program and its life saving message. We look forward to seeing you at the Seminar.
