OCTOBER 1 & 2, 2011
Breast cancer affects more than women; it affects whole communities. LRSTC is a Maryland nonprofit organization committed to the health and well-being of Greater Baltimore residents. To that end, we are proud to support the Maryland affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure in all they do to help all people of Maryland affected by breast cancer.
Our goal is to provide a fun, safe and one-of-a-kind fundraising experience. Regardless of your skill level-even if you have never picked up a gun-you can fully participate in this event! Staff and volunteers will provide basic instructions and be available to assist you with any questions or concerns throughout the two-day event.
SHOOT FOR THE CURE� is a two-day, open event. You may participate at any time on either or both days. Shooting will start at 10 a.m. each day.
Entry fees: 50% of entry fees will be donated to Komen Maryland
$20 for 2 rounds of skeet and/or trap (50 targets)
$40 for 4 rounds of skeet and/or trap (100 targets)

The award-winning crime prevention and personal safety seminar, Refuse To Be A Victim�, will be conducted on Saturday, October 8, 2011, at the Associated Gun Clubs of Baltimore-Memorial Hall, 11518 Marriottsville Road, Marriottsville MD 21104 from 12 Noon-4:30 PM.
The seminar is open to the public and costs $25 to attend. The fee includes student Seminar materials and light fare lunch. Due to limited seating pre-registration is required. Refuse To Be A Victim� Seminars teach methods to avoid dangerous situations and prevent criminal confrontations. Experts agree the most important factor in surviving a criminal attack is to have an overall safety strategy before you need it. Seminar topics address personal safety issues as well as home, automobile, telephone, technological, and travel security.
Seminar participants are presented with a variety of common-sense crime Prevention, personal safety strategies, and devices they may integrate into their daily lives.
Refuse To Be A Victim� was developed by the National Rifle Association in 1993 in response to nationwide requests for crime prevention seminars. Members of the law enforcement community across the country have endorsed the program. The program is age appropriate for teens and seniors. With more than two thousand instructors, seminars have been held in 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Canada, and Trinidad and Tobago.
Tens of thousands of men and women have benefited from the program and its life saving message. We look forward to seeing you at the Seminar.

Veteran's Day Challege Shoot
Veterans Day Challenge 11-11-11 Friday 9:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. Three gun shoot of a different type. .22 caliber revolver with open sights. No peep sights or scopes. Shooting off hand at 25 yards shooting at golf balls. You must shoot them from left to right and any shot out of order will not count. 10 shots with no rests of any type. .22 rifle with open sights. No peep sights or scopes. No slings or shootings jackets or any rests allowed. Shooting at golf balls from left to right and any shot out of order will not count. 10 shots. .410 shotgun shooting at claybirds going straight away from you using the wobble trap. In the event of a tie, the 410 will be used for sudden death. The fee is $20.00 to enter and we will supply ammunition for all firearms used. We will have firearms available for your use if needed. You must register and pay in advance. Registration deadline is October 31, 2011. The event is open to all badge holders, disabled veterans and anyone under 18 years of age. The prize for first place will be a firearm. If not enough people register, the event will be cancelled and it will be posted on the web page if it is cancelled and of course all money will be refunded. The more people that shoot the better the firearm that will be awarded.
