OPPOSE the following bills:
SB 161
Regulated Firearms - Applications for Dealer's License - Record Keeping and Reporting Requirements
Creates additional paperwork for dealer and ultimately a registration database of all firearm sold by the dealer when the business closes and records are transferred to the MSP
SB 162
Firearms - Detachable Magazines - Maximum Capacity for Ammunition
Limits the capacity of all detachable rifle and pistol magazines to a maximum of 10 rounds
SB 239
Crimes - Possession of Loaded Handgun or Regulated Firearm - Enhanced Penalties
Increased penalties and mandatory sentences for the mere possession of a loaded handgun by a citizen, even without any evidence of a criminal history or criminal intent. Elevates carrying without a permit from a misdemeanor offense to a felony offense.

Weapon-Free Higher Education Zones
Bans the possession of all knives and firearms on all public higher education property, including property which is not marked as a higher education facility

- Attend the hearings and show your support for gun rights!
- If you cannot attend, call and email the members of the JPR Committee - most committee members have laptops and they can monitor emails during the hearing.
