Jacob's Well Community Meeting

Everyone is welcome! Learn more about the project, get the most recent updates and find out how you can help.

Thursday, March 10th 7:30 - 9:00 AM.

Third Place Commons: 17171 Bothell Wy. NE, Lake Forest Park.

Coffee and pastries will be served.

Our facilities are built debt-free on a pay-as-you-go model. This is how we've built our six buildings in Renton over the past 20 years, and they're still standing and serving homeless families! The community has done a great job raising the funds for the Jacob's Well foundation, waterlines, sewers, lumber, windows and half of the roof. Please consider making a donation to help raise the $210,000 needed for the other half of the roof, exterior doors, siding, exterior paint, elevator, plumbing and HVAC.

Thanks for Making a Difference

2010 was a year of healing and hope for many homeless families

Leah and DiegoOur supporters really stepped up in 2010 and reached out with their time, talents and treasures to help homeless families. Thank you!

In 2010, with your help we:
1. Provided housing and support services to 114 homeless individuals: 33 mothers, 64 children and 17 men.
2. Achieved 100% success rate in family program and 63% in men's recovery program.
3. Provided child care and early childhood education to 150 children, including resident children, alumni children and community children.
4. Expanded our Children's Advocate position to better serve the children in our care.
5. Launched the Resident Alumni Program to support and encourage former residents in their goal of remaining self sufficient.
6. Broke ground on Jacob's Well, our expansion project in Shoreline.

7. Doubled our volunteer hours
to over 10,000 hours valued at more than $216,000. Volunteers allow us to trim expenses and use resources wisely, thereby freeing up dollars to provide high quality, life-changing services for the families in our care.

We're truly humbled and grateful for all of you who are partnering with us to help homeless families get back on their feet and make a fresh start in life. Please contact us to come for a tour to see all the amazing things happening at Vision House. We would love to see you!

God bless,

"Vision House gave me hope and an opportunity to make a better future for my son."

Vision House services are needed NOW more than ever!

Governor Chris Gregoire states:

"The safety net will be stretched thin in some places and eliminated entirely in others. For the functions that government no longer will be able to provide, we must turn to neighbors, private charities, faith-based organizations and other local programs. Our communities, more than ever, will be asked to step up."

Will you STEP UP and help a homeless child?
