News from the firefly
Greetings!

Hibernation is over and firefly is lighting up! Avoid waiting for a table by calling ahead for a reservation. Whether there are two or 10 of you, this helps us schedule the staff and the dining room so that you can be where you want, when you want.

Remember, walk-ins are ALWAYS welcome, but calling ahead helps us make your dining experience truly exceptional!
Easter Egg-stravaganza!

ceo class
Make this Easter egg-specially special by dining at the firefly's Egg-stravagant Easter Brunch.

Our classic Easter Tasting will have something for everyone.  Traditional fare like pastries, eggs, ham and hash browns, and for those a little more daring, some non-traditional but still exceptional dishes like house-smoked Maine codfish pie with leeks, onions, new potatoes and bacon; braised Brabant Farms lamb; forged wild mushroom ham & eggs; and one of our favorites, Bananas Foster French Toast.  Delectable, delicious, and not to be missed.  Top if off with a selection from our Petite Dessert Menu - just enough to satisfy a taste but not too much so you're stuffed!

For the children, we're hosting our annual firefly egg-hunt at noon and 2 p.m. We hear that the Easter Bunny is going to join in.  But if he's the one hiding them, it doesn't seem really fair now, does it?

Since our brunch is a very popular event reservations are strongly suggested, 217-342-2002.  The full menu is on the website, www.ffgrill.com.  Menu subject to change.
Coming up... an AHA moment!
Aha Film Festival
Saturday, April 10, is a huge evening for many students in Effingham County. It's our very own version of the Oscars, the night that the films of the 2010 Effingham-Teutopolis Multimedia class are premiered for the community at the 7th Annual AHA Student Film Festival.

As it's grown, the festival has received national attention and attended by some of the most noted names in film and education.  This year, the producer and author of the film, The Fat Boy Chronicles will be among those attending.

We're excited to hosting the AHA After-Hours party at the firefly grill.  It's your chance to meet the students and hob-nob with filmakers, both present and future.

The festival is held at the Rosebud Theater, with the curtain going up at 7 p.m.  The After-Hours party begins following the show.
We're looking for a few great people...
