Jazz Prince
The party is not over when the live auction ends. Let the fun continue with some jazz entertainment by the Paul Peterson Orchestra.
Discovered by Prince at the age of 17, "St. Paul" appeared as a keyboard player in the "The Time" for the movie "Purple Rain" and was lead vocalist for the Prince group "The Family" before becoming a solo artist for MCA and Atlantic Records.
Paul has recorded, toured or written with Oleta Adams, George Benson, The Corrs, Kenny Loggins, Jeff Lorber, Steve Miller, Donny Osmond, Prince, David Sanborn and Boz Scaggs, to name a few. He is now the program chair of the Recording Division at Minneapolis Media Institute. |

Light the Way
Within every child is a spark. Light the way. Make them shine.
St. David's Center achieves the outcomes our children, their parents and our community needs. It's in the way we work, the expertise of our staff and the integrated services they provide, and the collaboration we build with parents and the community.
One of our main goals is to intervene early in life in order to create the greatest impact on the child. Because of the way we work, there will always be a gap in funding important initiatives like early intervention treatment for children with developmental needs.
The Gala will provide an opportunity for guests to invest in children today and avoid far more costly solutions to far more challenging problems later in life. |

Too Hip to Be Square
We'll be bringing down the square -- International Market Square -- again at this year's Gala. Home to our 50th Anniversary celebration and nearly 500 guests last year, we'll be back again to support the work that St. David's Center does in early intervention.
Built in 1905, International Market Square is the largest home and commercial interior design marketplace in the Upper Midwest. Last year, it accommodated our largest number of attendees yet -- taking over three floors -- and we hope to reach that again this year. |

It's Ba-ack!
Forget staring at bid sheets, pushing through crowds and elbowing as the last seconds count down. Your pal, BidPal, will be on hand again this year for bidding on silent auction items and donating to Light the Way from anywhere at the event.
All of the silent auction items (see a preview here) are listed with full-color photos on your hand-held device in easy-to-find categories. All you need to do is tap "submit bid." BidPal will then tell you if you've been outbid, so you can stay on top of your must-have items. |
