Upcoming Opportunities
Back to Nature
Help restore our 2.5 acre DNR-certified School Forest with Cedar River Horse Logging. Groups are needed from Monday, July 19 - Thursday, July 22.
Projects include:
- Moving limbs
- Cutting up brush
- Assisting with chipping
- Securing logs to the hillside
- Moving mulch
- Setting up natural play areas with logs and sticks
This restoration project was made possible due to a generous grant from Cargill. Thank you, Cargill!
First Playground of its Kind in Minnesota
Build memories and help install the first toddler playground integrating both inclusive and natural play elements in Minnesota.
Saturday, August 28 is our Toddler Playground Community Build and will be a day full of family fun, food and festivities. Celebrate with food, games and fun giveaways including commemorative hard hats to the first 150 kids.
Join us from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Let the Celebration Begin
How does St. David's Center kick-off 50 years of enriching the lives of children and families? With a free outdoor art and nature adventure for the whole community -- our fifth annual Fall Festival -- on Saturday, September 25.
Volunteers are needed to help with various event components, including:
- Set up
- Manning activities at arts and crafts booths
- Selling merchandise at the Fall Festival market
- Clean up
There are two volunteer shifts available:
- 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
- 12:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
