 Hopkins High School Volunteers
Once a week, seven girls from Hopkins High School head "back to school" to volunteer in the Early Childhood Education (ECE) classrooms at St. David's Center. As part of Hopkins High School's Community Involvement Program, the girls not only serve their community but develop personally and socially in the process.

She was a "wild" teen with a history of addiction, who wanted to settle down with her husband, Dustin, and have a calm, simple life. That proved to be even more difficult when Dustin was deployed to Iraq and Leah suffered from postpartum depression. Without a strong support system, Leah relied on Healthy Families: An Infant-Parent Development program at St. David's Center to help her manage her anxiety and depression, and begin building a positive relationship with her baby. MORE...

And Ruth Kewitsch, our new manager of individual giving, re-joins St. David's Center after serving as Development director from 1998 - 2000. MORE...
