St. David's Center for Child & Family Development
Greetings!

This fall will mark the 50th Anniversary of St. David's Center and to celebrate the occasion, we will be creating a commemorative cookbook with proceeds benefitting St. David's Center programs. Please read on to learn how you can be a part of this special keepsake.

If you have any questions, please contact Becky Brandt at bgrecula@hotmail.com or 612-387-4085.

Sincerely,

50th Anniversary Marketing Committee
St. David's Center for Child & Family Development
How to Contribute

bakingWe would like to have three or four of your family's favorite recipes to include in the cookbook. Don't miss this opportunity to share your child's favorite snack, your mother's special rolls or your family's one-of-a-kind dish.

Directions for Recipe Submission:
  • Submit recipes online at www.typensave.com
    • group login: stdavidscenter
    • group password: qfkgn
  • OR type or make a photocopy of your recipe (one per sheet) and return it to the basket at the main reception desk or via email to bgrecula@hotmail.com
  • The deadline to submit recipes is Friday, May 14
  • Include your name as you want it printed in the cookbook
  • Include contact information (phone number/email) in case we have questions about the recipe - not to be printed in the book
Helpful Tips
  • List all ingredients in order of use in ingredients list and directions
  • Include container sizes (i.e., 16-oz pkg or 24 oz can)
  • Keep directions in paragraph form, not in steps
  • Use names of ingredients in the directions (i.e., "combine sugar and eggs" not "combine first two ingredients")
  • Include temperatures and cooking, chilling, baking, marinating and/or freezing times
  • Choose a category for your recipe: appetizers/beverages, soups/salads, vegetables/side dishes, main dishes, breads/rolls, desserts/cookies/candy, kids lunchbox, special diet/allergies, this/that
  • Note - depending on duplicates, not all recipes may be included
