Lifetime Fitness Volunteers
Twelve Life Time Fitness volunteers donated two hours of their time creating baskets for St. David's Staff Annual Fund Silent Auction, preparing material for several Early Childhood Program classrooms and getting flyers for St. David's Second Annual Blood Drive ready to mail.

This group is just one example of how much can be accomplished in a short period of time and we appreciate their help.

Be the Host(ess) with the Most(ess)
Volunteer to host a Foster Care Appreciation event for St. David's Therapeutic and Respite Foster Care providers and families. Donations are needed for food, decorations, door prizes, etc. The event would ideally take place in May on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evening. It can be held at St. David's or feel free to suggest another location.

What is a Therapeutic Foster Care Provider?

These extraordinary individuals and families provide in-home care for children who have been removed from their homes and need long-term care. The length of foster placement is typically between six months to a year. The goal of St. David's Therapeutic Foster Care program is to provide a nurturing environment for children who are in need and to partner with the providers to ensure the child's stay is comfortable, safe and reliable.

What is a Respite Foster Care Provider?
These generous individuals and families offer parents or guardians a temporary 24 to 48 hour break from the everyday demands of raising a child with special needs. The goal of St. David's Respite Foster Care program is to have the child go to a safe and enjoyable environment and return home rested and relaxed.
