Dear Neighbors,
One of the reasons many of us were attracted to Lake County is because of its natural resources. We enjoy hiking, looking out in the backyard at birds and other animals. However, at times, it seems nature is a little too close for comfort. While we are used to deer and try to make our gardens less appetizing for them, a recent development has been an increase in coyote population.
I recommend viewing "How to Live with Coyotes." This power point, produced by the Forest Preserve has facts, as well as tips and phone numbers if you have a problem coyote.
