Audience Choice Award Voting has begun!
Every year, Atlanta audiences have a chance to recognize the whole season of a favorite professional theatre through the Audience Choice Award.
Voting is simple, just make a tax-deductible donation of a dollar (or more!) to The Suzi Awards. Each dollar equals one vote for your favorite! Come to the Awards Ceremony on November 9 to see who wins!

Greetings!
How do you like the new e-newsletter? Pretty snazzy, huh? That's Suzi herself in blue, and a photo of our first winners in 2005. Our great friend Cynde at Saint Charles Creative designed it for us. She's been our graphic guru from the start, and is also the artist behind our new personal web logos and Suzi Recommended signage. We're excited about these new initiatives that supplement our redesigned web site coming in September. Let us know what you think of it!
Sincerely, Deadra Moore The Suzi Bass Awards

Marketing with Suzi
New graphics boost profile
In six short years, the Suzi Awards organization has grown beyond a few theatre industry types throwing a party and handing out statuettes. The mission of the Suzis is to spotlight the best of professional theatre year-round, and to pull in some big attention on awards night. To keep up with the blossoming profile of the organization, we have some great graphic additions that will help theatres and artists brag on their Suzi kudos. The new Suzi Recommended logo (above) will point audiences to our great new website when it debuts in September, while keeping the great caricature of Suzi Bass and her big, big laugh.
Many of our Nominees and Winners are including their Suzi accolades in program bios, email signatures and professional web pages, but until now we had no graphic to provide them. At this year's ceremony we'll be unveiling Nominee, Winner, and Member badges that will look great in email and on the web. Along with this e-newsletter graphic, we have a different one for The Insider, our exclusive Member Newsletter. A grant from Georgia Council for the Arts helped us re-design the ways we communicate with you, Atlanta's theatre audience. We are very grateful for arts funding from the legislature, and happy to be a part of making Atlanta a cultural destination! |

Thank you
You hear it said to sponsors at show curtain speeches, you clap it for the performers and artistic team at curtain, you may say it to the volunteer usher who seats you.
The Suzi Awards wants to thank YOU, the folks who buy tickets to shows, who go back to productions they love, and go to the next production even after seeing something they didn't love. You are the ones who read articles on theatre in our city, who take time to check out a new show or theatre, or who loyally purchase a whole season of tickets to your neighborhood favorite.
The majority of professional theatre in Atlanta is produced not for profit, but for moving your emotions, raising tough issues, giving you a window into a life different from your own, and creating the wonderful event that is live theatre.
