Summer is always a busy time at HGRM with more activity on donations and distribution to our clients.    Volunteers are needed as much or more than any other time of the year.  We very much appreciate the time teens and adults spend to help others make a home in the summer.  Here are a few things you can do to be sure we continue to provide excellent service to our donors and clients, as well as for fellow volunteers:

• As you finalize vacation plans, please be sure to update the volunteer schedule posted near the front desk.  
• Check the schedule each time you volunteer to be sure you are signed up for your next shifts.  If you see gaps, consider adding yourself to a shift. 
• Encourage high school and college students you know to volunteer.  Their energy and enthusiasm are a big plus!  
• Bring a friend to learn more about volunteering at HGRM.  Sharing the fun can only make it better!
