Darkness approached. With difficulty we crammed a sofa into Mauro and Margarete's station wagon. I handed Mauro his heavy red tool box which had been set aside on our driveway. We embraced and they left for their apartment in the next town. Barbara and I had been helping this couple who ran from unemployment and rampant inflation in Brazil. Greetings!

The HGRM Board of Directors held its annual meeting to elect officers and directors.  The Board includes volunteers who are active in other parts of the operation, but who take additional responsibilities that focus on planning and sustainability.  The board also established an operations committee to coordinate day to day activities.   These volunteers contribute many skills and talents and will make it possible for HGRM to continue to help those in need make a home well into the future.

Whether you lift couches or lift a pencil, every volunteer and supporter of HGRM contributes to our success.  Thanks for all that you do,

Jo-Ann

Thanks to All Seasons Tennis Club
BlueBin

All Seasons Tennis Club is hosting one of our blue bins to collect pots & pans and other kitchen items.  Thanks in advance to the members for your contributions!

Did you know that you can organize a drive, too?  Your faith community, service organization, or other group could easily host one of our bins for a day, a week or more.  Contact Jo-Ann to learn how you can make this happen.
