  Vlada Bystrova represents a new generation of Jewish life in Ukraine.  Working as Director of Project Kesher's Next Generation Programs, Vlada ensures that women in their teens through thirties are engaging in the Jewish community and becoming social activisits on issues important to women and girls including tolerance, human trafficking, domestic violence and women's health. Vlada will provide a moving account of her own Jewish journey and an update on Project Kesher's work in the Jewish communities of Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus, Georgia and most recently Israel.  The briefing will also cover current realities and the future outlook for Jewish renewal and social activism in the countries of the former Soviet Union.
