Greetings!

Well, I missed you last week! I actually took some vacation time and have come back to work ready for action. I had a great break and read a couple of books, took off wallpaper, painted, and visited my daughter in Kansas City. Hope your week was also lovely.

This note gives me a chance to share news about some of our generous friends. I hope you enjoy hearing this little bit of news.
The Great Book Find
Reader's Corner Donation
Yesterday we received an incredible donation of almost 5,000 books from The Reader's Corner. I just visited and spent $7 on eight books. More books are coming in this afternoon so we should have a great selection. This donation means that  you can get some amazingly low priced books and The Partnership will use the money to support our great programs.

Special thanks to Larry Bowen, owner of the Reader's Corner for this lovely donation. Hurry out to the Resale Shop (10th Street and Quail Run) before I buy them all!
Soft Drink Donation
Thanks to Grellner's
Yesterday must have been one of the Resale Shop's luck days! Fifty cases of soft drinks were donated by Grellner's Distribution for our wonderful Resale Shop volunteers. One of the perks of being a volunteer at the Resale Shop includes snacks and soft drinks. We are most grateful for this donation, thanks Rodney Edwards of Grellner for thinking of us!
It is wonderful to have so many things to be thankful for - including the great donations we received this week. Thank you for your support of The Partnership and please let me know if you have any questions or ideas.

Sincerely,

Amy Beechner-McCarthy
