 Recent Testimonials:
I have never had
a better experience when planning for travel. Christine has been an absolute pleasure to work with.
She was extremely fast, efficient, and pleasant to deal with. There were times when we would
send off an email and would get a response just minutes later! We would
recommend her to a friend or family member in a heartbeat! In fact, we are
already planning to book with Chris again. Thanks for the great work Chris!

I recently arranged a trip to S.A. with TravelBoecker.
It was a pleasure dealing with Christine who was friendly, knowledgeable and
efficient. All arrangements were completed by telephone and e-mail. My tickets
and itinerary arrived as promised 2 weeks prior to departure together with my
authentic "african" inspired luggage labels. All travel arrangements
went according to plan. I would definitely use her services again and I am
already planning my next trip with her. - Dr S.K. Vancouver
I do want to thank you for all your hard work in
preparing for my summer vacation in Greece. The flights I had were excellent... The
time I spent in Greece was one of the best vacations that I have had there.
Thank you again. B.K. Steveston

Antarctica: Penguins, Icebergs &
the Adventure of a Lifetime
Many people think that Antarctica is the impossible
destination - impossible to get to, impossible to afford, impossible to
understand. Not so... Antarctica has always been about possibilities -
exciting, breathtaking possibilities!
Humans never inhabited Antarctica and exploration of
the continent is relatively recent.
Antarctica is devoid of power lines, billboards, and
highways. There are no designer coffee shops or cellular networks.
When the
engines are turned off, the only sounds you hear are natural - wildlife, water
and the occasional boom of icebergs calving. If you listen closely, you can
hear your heart beating with excitement! And new discoveries continue to be made. For
many, perhaps, the most appealing aspect of Antarctica is its wildlife.
Expeditions to Antarctica are diverse in style and
cost. Three elements affect the cost of a voyage: the duration of the
expedition, the passenger capacity of the vessel, and the activities included.
Antarctica does not lend itself to "bare
bones" travel. And you cannot upgrade hotels or cut your expedition short
if you find you have chosen the wrong itinerary or ship.
So invest wisely -
let us advise you in choosing an expedition operated by a company with a solid reputation, and ships
that are purpose-built for polar waters.

I have had the privilege of exploring the polar region on an expedition ship - a trip unlike anything I have ever experienced! My first-hand knowledge, as well as connections to well-reputed expedition cruise lines is to your advantage! TravelBoecker offers Authentic Journeys and Unforgettable Memories!

The End of an Era!
Kapitan Khlebnikov retires
as an expedition vessel in March 2012. The End of an Era has begun!
Response to the 'End of an Era' itineraries
honoring flagship Kapitan Khlebnikov has been overwhelming. The 2010
semi-circumnavigation of Antarctica is sold out, and many of the other
remarkable one-of-a-kind expeditions visiting remote locations only made
possible by the icebreaker, are well on their way to selling out.
We still have some cabins
available on the Northwest Passage Sailing: West to East on July 28, 2010 ranging
in price from US$16,490 to $28,290.
Sail the most legendary route in Arctic lore,
the Northwest Passage from Anadyr, Russia to Resolute, Canada. This will be the
final *west to east* transit of the Northwest Passage made by our icebreaker
Kapitan Khlebnikov.
Special guest on that voyage is broadcaster, author, and
renowned historian Andrew Lambert, who wrote the book "The Gates of Hell, Sir
John Franklin's Tragic Quest for the North West Passage".

ABOUT the TravelBoecker Service...
32
years ago I entered my uncle's Travel Agency as a travel agent apprentice - not knowing Sydney, N.S. from Sydney
N.S.W. Ever since then I have been
driven to explore the wonderful world we live in, from the dry and hot Kalahari
Desert to the cold and windy Beechey Island in the Arctic, where 4 members of
the Franklin expedition perished 150 years ago -- and many memorable places in
between!
"I cannot rest from travel, I will drink life to the lees. All times I have enjoyed greatly..." Tennyson (Ulysees)
 With
this accumulated knowledge and my unending passion for travel I am able to distill
and refine your travel ideas into the trip of your dreams.
I've lived and travelled in Africa and Europe before settling in Canada 15
years ago. Therefore I can provide advice and tidbits about locations that you
likely will not find on the 'net' - sharing with you special places and events
often overlooked by the crowds, which I have discovered on my own journeys.
As
a trained Certified Travel Counselor (C.T.C.) with a reputation as an expert I
strive to create and organize a memorable trip for you - every time!
