Dear Friends & Supporters:

We've just come back from a fabulous six-day shoot in Washington, DC (read our blog posts here and here), and are off again next week for our final major film shoot at the nation's largest organ transplant community gathering - the 2010 NKF U.S. Transplant Games in Madison, Wisconsin!  If you're coming to the Games, please visit our "PowerStudio" at the Games Expo on July 30-31 to share your own transplant miracle by recording a "Video-Gram"!
VISIT OUR BOOTH AT THE GAMES EXPO
Ana and IsaWhile our film crew follows double lung transplant recipients and centerpiece characters of the film Ana and Isa Stenzel, as well as other members of Team NorCal (Northern California) competing in the Games, the rest of our team will oversee one of the largest booths at the Expo.  Stop by to record a "Video-Gram" (see below), write a message on the wall of our "PowerStudio," watch the trailer for our documentary film coming in 2011, and get your own THE POWER OF TWO bubbles (perfect for showing how well transplanted lungs are working!) and a special LifeStar pin.

Our booth and "PowerStudio" will be located at the end of the main Expo aisle (to the left as you face the "Goodie Bag" area). Stop by on July 30th from 3-7 p.m. and July 31st from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. to experience THE POWER OF TWO in person!
SHARE YOUR TRANSPLANT MIRACLE BY RECORDING A VIDEO-GRAM AT OUR POWERSTUDIO
We are eager to see our long-anticipated "PowerStudio" come to life at the Expo!  Athletes, donor family members, friends and loved ones will be able to record a 2 minute "Video-Gram" sharing insights about how their transplant experience shows that "there is a miracle in every breath."  These powerful videos will be compiled for a special Games feature on www.ThePowerOfTwoMovie.com - see more details and RSVP on Facebook!
ISA TO BAGPIPE NATIONAL ANTHEM AT OPENING CEREMONY
Isa plays bagpipesIsa will be bagpiping "The Star Spangled Banner" at the Games' Opening Ceremony on July 31!  In this symbolic performance, Isa will play one of the world's most demanding instruments with her strong donor lungs.

The Games are filled with rare opportunities for the national transplant community to come together, including the Lung Gathering hosted by Taking Flight with New Life on August 1 and Donor Recognition Ceremony on August 2.  See our calendar on the home page of www.ThePowerOfTwoMovie.com for a complete list of events in which THE POWER OF TWO will be participating!
MEETING TEAM NORCAL
THE POWER OF TWO comes to the Games with Team NorCal, a group of over 30 recipient-athletes including Ana and Isa, donor family members, and supporters. Click here to meet these athletes in our exclusive web profiles!

THANK YOU TO OUR SPONSORS
Our presence at the 2010 Transplant Games would not be possible without the support of our generous Games sponsors Perkins Coie LLP and LifeStars

As our final major film shoot, the U.S. Transplant Games represent the culmination of our film making and advocacy over the past year.  (See our short video featuring the Japan Transplant Games last October!)  Joining with the national transplant community in a joyous celebration of new life couldn't be a more perfect ending to this phase of our momentous journey.

Thank you for your continued support and encouragement.  Stay tuned as we move forward to complete the documentary in 2010 -- it's not too late to help!

With every breath,
