| A Fundraiser & Work in Progress Celebration - June 13
Please join us in Pacific Palisades on Sunday, June 13th from 4-7pm to celebrate the great successes of our production so far, and to help us raise the funds necessary to complete THE POWER OF TWO in 2010. Ana Stenzel, Isa Stenzel Byrnes, and Director/Producer Marc Smolowitz will be in attendance. Thanks to our generous Community Partner in Southern California -- OneLegacy -- for sponsoring this party, one which is shaping up to be a star studded event. A live auction item will round out a wonderful late afternoon of food, drinks, friends and updates about THE POWER OF TWO. Special thanks to our prestigious host committee members, including renowned Hollywood actor Jack Black and his wife musician/performer Tanya Haden. Both are expected to attend. |

DONATE LIFE FILM FESTIVAL - June 11-12

 THE POWER OF TWO team is honored to join the Donate Life Hollywood Film Festival: the entertainment industry's signature annual event that recognizes accurate and meaningful depictations of organ donation and transplantation in Hollywood. In addition to featuring Isa and Ana on the red carpet and as closing night award presenters, Director/Producer Marc Smolowitz will be on hand with crew to capture the special proceedings throughout the weekend. After screening THE POWER OF TWO Film Trailer ( click here to watch), Marc will moderate a panel discussion called "Leveling the Playing Field," featuring seasoned entertainment pros and advocates talking about social media, storytelling and activating social change. |

| The Power Of Two in DC & Richmond, VA - July 14-18
In mid-July, our crew heads to Washington, DC with Ana & Isa for a Capitol Hill briefing addressing a range of critical public health concerns for Asian Americans. This will be followed by a special ceremony for transplant recipients at the National Donor Memorial in Richmond, VA. Key interviews and interactions with policy-makers, scientists, and non-profit organizations will be recorded, including an exclusive interview with Dr. Francis S. Collins, Director of the NIH and the scientist who discovered the CF gene. Stay tuned for updates in the weeks ahead! This biennial transplant community event is our last major film shoot, and our best opportunity yet to share THE POWER OF TWO with the national transplant community! Ana & Isa are training hard to compete with Team NorCal, and we will have a big presence at the Games Expo where recipient-athletes, living donors and donor families can record their own Video-Grams!
