Beautiful smile? Easy on the eyes? Breath taking looks? No. Heads didn't turn when Jesus walked by. If he was anything like tradition tells us, he had a broad peasant's face, dark olive skin, short curly hair, and a strong nose with average clothing. He would have stood five feet one inch tall and would have weighed around 110 pounds. Not even close to making it on a GQ cover.
Are your looks run-of-the-mill? Is simple your middle name? He was your average simple man.
Jesus made a significant difference without any special beauty or form. That makes me feel a whole lot better about myself. Smile!
Prayer: Dear Jesus - Thank you for choosing me. You made me exactly the way you wanted to. Help me to continue to fulfill the assignment you have for me. Amen

Community Night - Sept 26
