It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Galatians 5:1
Some have thought that we earn points with God by what we know - INTELLECTUALISM. Others teach we are saved by what we do - GOOD MORALS. And others assert that eternal salvation is settled by what we think - HUMANISM.
Nevertheless, Paul simply states that salvation comes only through the cross - no inclusions, no supplements, no add ons, or modifications.
At the cross, at the cross where I first saw the light, And the burden of my heart rolled away, It was there by faith I received my sight, And now I am happy all the day!
Prayer: Father God - Thank you for the cross. I embrace your freedom. And where the spirit is, there is freedom. Amen.
