Jesus died - not on accident or with reluctance. He choose to die on purpose.
The road to the cross didn't begin at his birth. It didn't begin when he was at the temple when he was 12 as he was impressing the Rabbi's with his divine wisdom. The journey to the cross didn't even begin when he was arrested or began to carry his cross on the road of suffering. Before the chomp of Eve's bite into the apple in the garden, Jesus was already on his way to Calvary.
Prayer: Oh, God - you are merciful. Your mercy and grace is what I need today. Amen.
