Jesus had to be made like his brothers - so he could be their merciful and faithful high priest. Hebrews 2:17
Jesus displays the bad apples of his family tree in the first chapter of the New Testament. Some of the fruit were people like Rahab who was a Jericho prostitute. David was also on that tree and his fruit swayed with the wind. One day he was writing the Psalms and the next he was seducing his captain's wife. But Jesus didn't cut either one of them out. If your family tree has bruised fruit, then Jesus wants you to know, "I've been there."

"You Be Havin' An Attitude!" The solemn blessings or what most people know as "The Beatitudes" mark the opening of the Sermon on the Mount, the very first of Our Lord's sermons. Jesus shares the blessings that come with having these eight attitudes. By the end of this series, "you'll be havin' an attitude yourself."
