I love Easter because it a great time to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ-that powerful event that is the foundation of faith. If you think about it, God is still resurrecting today. When you were saved, your spirit was resurrected in order to have connection with God. The Bible says that "the same power that raised Christ from the dead dwells in you!" God wants to resurrect your family, your finances, your hopes, and your dreams.

You may feel like the disciples huddled in the room on Saturday night after Jesus died on Friday. They were discouraged and overwhelmed with the challenges they were facing; but they did not know what was going to happen on Sunday. On Sunday, Jesus was going to be resurrected. So just like the old saying goes, "It may feel like Friday night, but Sunday's on its way."

God wants you to call on his resurrection power and call on his name. Worship him and say what the children said on Palm Sunday: "Hosanna, hosanna, blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord."

We love and celebrate with you the resurrected life of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

Today's Prayer: Dear Jesus, I want to stay connected with you. You are my Lord and the Savior of my life. I feel discouraged and need to feel your love. Resurrect the things in my life that are dead. I choose to serve you no matter what comes my way. Amen.
