Love is patient. I Corinthians 13:4
The Greek word for patience here is "taking a long time to boil." If you are boiling a pot of water, the water boils quickly if the flame is on high. It also boils slowly when the flame is on low. Patience "keeps the burner down." Patience waits and listens. Patience is patient with inconvenience. God has lavished us with an abundance of patience in our relationship with him. God wants us to treat others with patience.
Today's Prayer: Dear Jesus, I need to sense your love. Your love is what I need. Your love helps me love myself and others. Surround me with your love today.
