 Happy New Year!
"I went down to the grove of nut trees to look at the new growth in the valley, to see if the vines had budded or the pomegranates were in bloom." Song of Solomon 6:11
Sometimes we have been the valley for so long that we don't realize that there are some things that are budding and blooming. This is a new year - so expect something new. There is an old saying that if you expect nothing, then that is exactly what you are going to get, nothing. Believe that the valley areas of your life are going to bloom this year! I encourage you to face 2008 with a "God expectation" and expect the best because that is what God has for you. God has great things for you. Let the Holy Spirit lead you as you learn to enjoy starting your each day with God. He loves you and we do too!

Discovery with Pastor Bracy - This Sunday

 January 6 - Come and Discover

I want to personally invite you to Discovery. Discovery is for all who are new to our church or want to get better acquainted. Or you may have been coming to Stonebridge for a while, but haven't been to Discovery - then this Sunday is for you.
During Discovery, I will be sharing our story with you, our vision and the great things that God has in store in 2008 for Stonebridge Church. I have some up to date information about our new building, education academy we are opening up in the fall of 2008, and other related things that God is doing. I want to field your questions about how we feel you can be apart of what God is doing through Stonebridge.
We'll be meeting at Glen Oaks Elementary at 9:30 a.m. before the 10:30 main service.
