We are looking forward to another exciting day for children and grandparents this year!!  Grandparents Day 2010 will be held at the school on Friday, April 8th during school hours.  Grandparents Day is a special event for grandparents of current students to learn about the school, view classrooms and spend some time with their grandchildren.  For those grandparents who are unable to attend, the invitation will include a blank notecard for them to send a special note to their grandchild at the school.

If you are a new family or need to update grandparent information from last year, please email Debbie Starling, rstarling1@carolina.rr.com, as soon as possible with the following info:

Child's name and homeroom teacher

Names and Addresses of grandparents  

     (they will be mailed a formal invitation)

First and Last Names of grandparents for nametags

For example:

Joe Student        Teacher Name - 1st Grade 

Mr. and Mrs. John Grandparent

123 School Lane

Charlotte, North Carolina  28277

John and Betty Grandparent

If there are no changes to be made, you do not need to respond to this email.  We will use the same names and addresses as last year.  (Please note- this list is ONLY used for grandparents day)  If the grandparent lives outside the USA, we will be happy to provide you with an addressed invitation that you can mail from home.
