Serving Our Community, Think Warm

The mercury has fallen significantly in the past week.  As you put on your coat this January, take a minute to imagine not owning a coat at all.   Unfortunately, many in the Charlotte area do not have the resources to warmly clothe themselves or their families against winter's chill.

Scholars' Academy will again hold a coat drive supporting Crisis Assistance Ministry via WSOC-TV Steve's Coats for Kids.  New and gently used coatsSteve's Coats For Kids will be collected at school Monday, January 11 through Friday, January 15. So throw all those outgrown coats in a bag and bring them to school in early January.
