Supporting Our Present, Investing In Our Future
Just like all of you, I received my letter in the mail this week about the 2009/2010 Annual Fund campaign. The fund drive has become a fixture of our efforts to fully fund the excellent school program that we offer students at the Scholars' Academy. This year we add to the formula the funding of our new home at 5225 77 Center Drive. As you have read the suggested amount per student this year is larger than the amount suggested last year. This is because the Annual Fund for 2009/2010 is fulfilling two funding needs - the program and the new facility. As I manage the day-to-day expenses of the school, I am continually reminded about the importance of our generous families for the continuing operation of the school. I want to provide a very personal thank you to all of the members of our school community who contribute to this very significant effort to support our present and invest in our future.
For the earth,
Marie Peine, Ph.D., Director

Re-link Your Harris Teeter VIC Card
Harris Teeter's Together In Education program is a fund raising program for schools in our community. Ask parents, grandparents, sisters, brothers, in-laws, neighbors, and friends if they would like to support your child(ren)'s school by linking their VIC card to Scholars Academy. It costs nothing, it is easy to do, and it's free money for the school! Up to five schools can be linked to one card.
Our school code is 4075. To re-link your VIC card for this school year or to sign up for the first time, click here. If you have already linked your VIC card to Scholars' Academy, just check the bottom of your receipt at your next puchase to ensure your purchases are going towards the right school. |
