Dear Students, Faculty, Parents and members of the Scholars' Academy family,
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to secure a permanent home for the Scholars' Academy. It is necessary to move the date for our Open House forward. A signed Purchase Sale Agreement is necessary before we can schedule this event to show off this facility.
Additional time has been needed to sign the Purchase Sale Agreement. Several factors created this delay:
- North Carolina budgetary changes
- Further technical due diligence required on the property
- A few changes required by lenders in the financing terms of the deal
We are confident that we will have a signed contract shortly. We are anxious for you to see the proposed new building and hear our exciting plans as soon as possible. Therefore, we will schedule our Open House on Saturday, April 18th from 3:00 - 5:00 pm. The Scholars' Academy is scheduled to have its 2nd Annual Grandparents' Day and Night of the Arts on Friday, April 17th . We are pleased to invite all of our out of town guests to the Open House. We hope your families will be able to join us!
