by Dr. John Demartinti
From the back cover: "How would you love to go to the next quantum level--beyond the world of simply "positive thinking"? Well, now you can! You can let The Gratitude Effect open your heart, inspire your mind and awaken your inner powers and hidden sides of greatness. Allow it to help you breakthrough any limiting beliefs and guide you to a more empowered life filled with deeper meaning and awareness.
Are you ready to experience new levels of inspiration, creativity and achievement through the living power of The Gratitude Effect? If you are, then let it guide you on your spiritual quest and you will become amazed by how it can affect your mind, your career, your finances, and transform your relationships as well as your physical well-being. This enlightening book can and will change your life. Get ready to experience The Gratitude Effect."
Now, I'll give you my take on this book: It is a wonderful book and it will open your life to more of what you want. When I first got it, I read it cover to cover, then for the last year I have had it on the end table next to my bed and I would read one short piece of it each night, maybe even the same piece a few nights in a row.
The way the book is setup, you don't need to read it cover to cover, just open it wherever you like and read one of the short writings.
This book is full of powerful insights that will open your mind to soar to new levels of joy by simply becoming thankful for every moment of your life. It is so powerful that it is humbling.
I've read other books on gratitude, yet to me, this one stands out. One reason is that it is short and easy to read so it encourages you to pick it up periodically and read some of it. Based on that alone, it will be more powerful and more effective.
I predict you will love this book. You might also look at many other books by John Demartini which I would also highly recommend.

Jomac Ltd. Propane & LP Trucks |
Jomac Ltd has been serving the propane and LP gas industry for nearly 30 years and has a proven track record in the design and manufacturing of propane service truck bodies and LP gas service trucks.
Jomac uses the best materials available to construct each and every service truck body and crane. Their proof is in the details, like fully gusseted aluminum crossmembers MIG welded on 8" centers. Welding is done on a rotating fixture, enabling our craftsmen to weld in a flat position, providing maximum fusion and penetration at all times. Hydraulic out and down on their outriggers means your service men will us them. That means safer operation and less worry for you.
Some other features include aluminum body construction with offers substantial weight savings while maintaining extreme durability and improved fuel efficiency.

PolyBilt Copolymer Bodies |
Polyprene, the material used in PolyBilt, is a specially formulated copolymer which is well suited for Fire Engine Body Protection, Industrial Vehicle Body Protection and Other Fire Vehicle Body Protection and similar components because it is strong enough to resist cracking and fatigue resulting from constant movement. Polyprene vehicles bodies can be painted and repaired easily when damaged. Polyprene will not rust, corrode, crack, chip or peel and Polyprene welds are impervious to microbial attack.
PolyBilt bodies are impact resistant--sledgehammer and bullet-tested; won't dent, absorbs impact energy; doesn't transfer collision forces to other components of the body, keeping repair costs to a minimum.
PolyBilt has a number of standardized bodies like those shown above and also makes custom bodies for most applications. You can contact them at 800-864-3817 and check out their website at www.polybilt.com. |
Knapheide Series 700 Service Body |
This is a Knapheide Series 700 service body being mounted on a Ford Crew Cab Lariet at Carter Industries in Union City, CA. We took a tour of their awesome facilities and caught this beauty in the final stages.
I say beauty, because it is the first low pro open top Knapheide body I can recall seeing and it looks awesome on this truck. The lids come to the bottom of the rear window and make it look more like a pickup and less like a work truck. It looks like it belongs on this truck. Yet, it still has ample room for tools, machines, etc. to get the job done effectively. In addition, this unit is having the new G2 Tommy Gate installed to expand its usefulness.
Of course the look of the body on the truck is what got me. It just looks great. I now know that I will be ordering more low pro units based on what I see here.
The Series 700 means that it has a long horizontal compartment on the curbside with a small square compartment below and then the streetside has the more typical vertical rear door with a shorter horizontal door just over the wheels. The long horizontal door offers the customer a good deal more flexibility in a body. There are quite a number of tools and items that will fit nicely in that compartment. It is a no extra charge option, but must be ordered when the body is built. Planning ahead will give you some advantages.
Thank you to Carter Industries for the tour and thank you to Knapheide for the opportunity to see this body. You can reach Carter Industries, a Knapheide distributor at 800-310-6390 and visit their updated website at www.carterind.com. You can see more Knapheide products at www.knapheide.com. |

We are introducing Stiles Truck Body & Equipment of Turlock, CA in this IdeaLetter, and showing off one of the body types you may get a call for: The Cone Body. Alum-Line Single Rear Wheel Flatbed |
The Alum-Line Single Rear Wheel Flatbed is a great addition. It is light enough to be mounted on 1/2-ton trucks that are certified for box removal. The bed weighs under 500 lbs. mounted.
In the Bay Area, Carter Industries is a distributor for Alum-Line products. Call them at 800-310-6390. See their website at www.carterind.com. Also check out the manufacturers website at www.alum-line.com. |
Highway Products Great Service Body |
This is a great offering from Highway Products of White City, Oregon, just 37 miles across the California border.
This is another product that I just love. It has so much space to store larger items in and shelves and dividers can be added as needed for the individual user. This is an all-aluminum body and consequently is a bit pricier than standard products, BUT, just look at this and think what your customers or you can do with it. Look how deep these compartments are! You won't see anything like this in a standard service body, plumber style body or superstructure. Since this is shown on a single rear wheel crew cab, think of the weight savings of the aluminum body and how much more cargo can be legally carried.
The rear door in the back gives access to the inside compartment for even taller items and a Rollercoaster bed slide from Highway Products would be the perfect addition to complete this truck. No need to climb in the back, just slide all of the cargo out easily.
Contact Highway Products from 7am-5pm Monday through Friday PST at 800-866-5269. And please, do yourself a favor and look at their great website: www.highwayproducts.com.

Royal Truck Body Service Body Superstructure |
This is one of the more interesting pieces I have come across. It was supposed to be a raised cargo bed enclosure, but when it arrived the top did not slide, so it is called a superstructure. At first I thought of a customer climbing in that space on hands and knees to fetch something that you know will be at the front of the body. . . Not a good picture. I'm sure the customer would have thought of that on their own.
When it arrived, I just added a Bedslider and problem solved. Now no one need climb in there, matter of fact, this went from a potentially negative situation to an incredibly positive one. Not only that--and this is the most interesting thing to me--I like it so much, I'm likely to order it that way on purpose next time! That's a turn around, don't you agree?
Think of how this can be used now. Look at all the height available; the bedslide takes care of cargo going in and out; no sliding roof that may potentially leak; the cargo is out of sight and under lock and key; the open top lids have full access. I mean the positives are stacking up! I'm liking it a lot!
Just in case you want one, call Royal Truck Body at their main headquarters in Paramount, CA at 800-834-7692 and visit their website (although you won't find this piece there. . .) at www.royaltruckbody.com.
