Horizontal Compartment Rules!
Horizontal Comparment

Horizontal Curbside

The Horizontal Compartment Rules! This is a rare shot of a service body with a horizontal compartment on the curbside. Notice that the horizontal compartment over the wheels goes all the way to the end of the body and below that is a smaller compartment. Normally there is a vertical door at the end the the horizontal compartment is shorter.
There are many advantages of the horizontal compartment. One, you can carry longer things and keep them out of the weather--things that would not have fit in the body before. Two, because a lot of people use the open door of the horizontal compartment as a "mini work area," there is more work area to use. Three, hardly anyone stocks them, but customers love them.
Here's the good news: They are no extra charge! More good news: You can get one on the curbside, streetside, or both sides at no extra charge! Here's even more good news: All you have to do to have these in stock is order them! And, of course, the Horizontal Series Compartment is no extra charge. How cool is that? Call Harbor Truck Bodies today and get one or several for your customers!
