    • Whatever it is you want, Give.
    • Invest 5 minutes each day envisioning your declared intention. Take Action!
    • Invest 5 minutes each day with your positive Truth statements.
    • "Faith it until you make it!" if old negative beliefs pop up.
    • Be willing to forgive EVERY person and circumstance.
    • Open your heart. Widely! 

Since the middle of January, we've been focusing on integrating practices of abundance into our lives. Those of you participating in our weekly Sacred Abundance classes will recognize the items above as a summary of your homework over the past weeks. Unlike some classes, though, we aren't "finishing" or "getting done" with our homework. We are cultivating habits, each week reinforcing our practices by continuing the work begun in previous weeks, as well as adding additional practices to further enhance our understanding.

 

And the point to all of this? On the surface, the intention may have been to earn more money, or pay off your bills, or get a better job, or start a new business, or any number of other things. What you have probably realized by now is that "Sacred Abundance" is so very much more than any of those outer things. Our program of Sacred Abundance is really a journey to awakening the awareness of the Holy Oneness that we are. Jesus termed this, "the Father within". The apostle, Paul, referred to it as "Christ in you, Your Hope of Glory". You may call it Divine Mind, Source, Beingness, Wholeness, the Universe, or maybe the Infinite Field of Pure Potential. Whatever name you give It, It is your True Identity.

So again Jesus said to them, "Very truly, I tell you... I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly...Is it not written in your law, 'I said, you are gods'?" (from John:10, NRSV)

 

There is a pattern of Perfection in the universe, and you are the likeness and image of that Perfection. Our goal in presenting this program has been to help us each to open our eyes, our minds, and our hearts to the Wholeness that we truly are. When we bring our daily lives into alignment with that Pattern of Perfection, the Love that we are is brought forth into expression, and we are able to truly fulfill our purpose. We each have work to do in this world. Some of us are lawyers, some of us are carpenters, some of us are merchants. Others are politicians, nurses, electricians, or rodeo clowns. Many of us are parents, some of us are aunts and uncles, we are best friends and co-workers and runners and walkers and swimmers and dancers. Some of us share our homes with cats, others with dogs, still others with guppies and iguanas.

  

It is my belief that we are all teachers. We each enlighten the world by the example of our lives. Each one of us has unique work to do in the bringing about of Heaven on Earth. Without you, we would be incomplete. Without you, some very important lesson would not be taught and learned. Without you, Allness would be less than It is. Fortunately, of course, this is not possible. We cannot be what We are without your willingness to be what You are.

We'll be continuing to learn how to express the Holy Oneness that we are even after we complete working through the lessons of Rev. Reiter's Sacred Abundance program.  Thank you to each of you: those who have participated in the weekly classes, those who have come to church each week, those who have been studying at home on their own or with a friend, and those of you who join us in these email lessons. We would not be what we are without you.event

 

New Member Sunday and

Annual Congregational Meeting, Feb. 26th

And it's Potluck Sunday, as well!

 

Please plan on attending this Sunday as we welcome new members into our congregation. Of course, anyone who attends or lends their consciousness to our spiritual community is a member of our community. "Official" membership is simply a means of publicly stating your alignment with our community.

 

Unity Church of Peace currently operates as an authorized expansion ministry of Unity Worldwide Ministries. Our goal is to achieve full-status voting membership as an autonomous Unity ministry by spring, 2014. One of the requirements for that status is to have at least 50 members request admission as a full-status church into voting membership of Unity Worldwide Ministries. It appears that we may reach that goal of 50 members this month!

 

Our annual meeting will be held at 12:00 noon, in the sanctuary. We'll be presenting our budget for 2012, as well as our annual status reports. If you're interested in the business of our church, please plan on attending. Anyone may attend; only members may vote. The meeting should not last more than one hour.classes

Jesus and His Teachings

 

In March, our Licensed Unity Teacher, Barbara Richman, will facilitate Jesus and His Teachings, which is a required class for those on the path to Unity credentialing. The heart of the Unity message is that Jesus is the great example and not the great exception. Explore how Jesus taught, prayed and healed. If you have questions, please just reply to this email.
