The California Right to Know Genetically Engineered Food Labeling Act of 2012 needs you: your business, organization, association, group, etc., to sign on to endorse the Act. It's very simple to sign on and become an endorser. There are 2 ways to do it, or you can do both (the second includes, for example, more actions your group can take to help the campaign.
1. Here's simple action #1: Just reply to kelly@carighttoknow.org with this completed sentence when you receive the email:
(YOUR GROUP NAME) endorses the CA Right to Know Genetically Engineered Food Labeling Act of 2012.
Pretty easy, huh?
2. Here's simple action #2: Go to http://carighttoknow.org/?q=node/17 and fill out the form. It might take 2 minutes, maybe less. Here's where you can see the list of endorsers so far: http://carighttoknow.org/?q=node/81
3. Very helpful action #3: Now that you've endorsed, Contact your network, allies, Facebook friends, Twitter followers, colleagues, associates, church, businesses where you shop, etc., and urge them to endorse as well! We want the list of endorsing groups to number in the hundreds at least, and we need it to grow fast, so we can show Californians the breadth and depth of support for labeling GMOs. Monsanto and the rest of the biotech industry will pump tens of millions of dollars into defeating this initiative. We won't have their kind of money, but we do have the power of our individual and collective actions, our networks and relationships, to counter their spending.
